Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the Mighty, the Pardoning. 66 Say: 'This is a mighty message 67 To which you pay no heed. 68 [Say, O Muhammad:] "No knowledge would I have had of [what passed among] the host on high when they argued [against the creation of man,] 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 Then the angels bowed themselves all together, 73 Except Iblis (Satan) he was proud and was one of the disbelievers. 74 He said: O Iblis! what prevented you that you should do obeisance to him whom I created with My two hands? Are you proud or are you of the exalted ones? 75 He said, "I am better than him. You created me from fire and created him from clay." 76 Allah said: get thee forth therefrom; verily thou art driven away. 77 'My curse shall rest on you until the Day of Recompense' 78 Satan said: “My Lord, then grant me respite till the Day that they are raised up.” 79 Said Allah, “You are therefore among those given respite.” 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Save Thy bondmen among them Sincere. 83 [Allah] said, "The truth [is My oath], and the truth I say - 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: "I do not ask any compensation of you for it, nor am I a specious pretender. 86 This is nothing else but a reminder to all the worlds, 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
