Say: "Truly am I a Warner: no god is there but the one Allah, Supreme and Irresistible,- 65 Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them, all-mighty, all-forgiving." 66 Say, "It is great news 67 from which you are turning away. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 Only this has been revealed to me that I am a distinct warner. 70 [For,] lo, thy Sustainer said unto the angels: "Behold, I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 And when I have fashioned him and breathed into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him prostrate, 72 So all the angels prostrated, every one, without exception. 73 except Iblis who puffed himself up with pride and became a disbeliever. 74 (Allah) said: "O Iblis (Satan)! What prevents you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with Both My Hands. Are you too proud (to fall prostrate to Adam) or are you one of the high exalted?" 75 He said, "I am better than him. You have created me from fire and him out of clay". 76 (Allah) said: "Then get out from here, for verily, you are outcast. 77 and My rejection shall be thy due until the Day of Judgment!" 78 He said, “My Lord! Therefore give me respite till the day when all will be raised.” 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the appointed day." 81 Said he, 'Now, by Thy glory, I shall pervert them all together, 82 except Your sincere servants among them". 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 That I will fill Hell with you [Iblis (Satan)] and those of them (mankind) that follow you, together." 85 Say: "No reward do I ask of you for this (Qur'an), nor am I a pretender. 86 It is but a reminder to the worlds. 87 “And you will come to know of its tidings, after a while.” 88
