Say, [O Muhammad], "I am only a warner, and there is not any deity except Allah, the One, the Prevailing. 65 The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, the Mighty, the most Forgiving. 66 Say, “That is a great tidings.” 67 from which you turn away. 68 “What did I know of the heavenly world, when the angels had disputed.” 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Your Lord said to the angels, "I am about to create a human being out of clay; 71 So when I have fashioned him and breathed into him (his) soul created by Me, then you fall down prostrate to him." 72 So the angels prostrated themselves, all of them: 73 Not so Iblis: he was haughty, and became one of those who reject Faith. 74 God said, "Satan, what prevented you from prostrating yourself to what I created with My own Hands? Were you overcome by arrogance, or are you of those who think [only] of themselves as exalted?" 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 He said, “Therefore exit from heaven, for you have been outcast.” (To disrespect the Prophets – peace and blessings be upon them – is blasphemy.) 77 And surely My curse is on you to the day of judgment. 78 He said: "O Lord, give me respite till the day the dead rise from their graves." 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 till the Day whose Hour I know.” 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Other than the chosen ones among Your creatures." 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I shall fill hell with thee and with such of them as follow thee, together. 85 Say: 'I ask of you no wage for it, neither am I of those who take things upon themselves. 86 It is nothing but a reminder unto all beings, 87 you shall before long know its truth." 88
