Say thou: I am but warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer. 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving." 66 Say: "That (this Quran) is a great news, 67 from which you are turning away.” 68 I had no knowledge of the High Council when they disputed. 69 Naught is revealed to me save that I am a plain warner. 70 Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I am about to create man from clay: 71 So when I have proportioned him and breathed into him of My [created] soul, then fall down to him in prostration." 72 And the angels did obeisance, all of them, 73 Not so lblis. He grew stiffnecked and became of the infidels. 74 Said (God): "O Iblis, what hindered you from adoring what I created by My own authority? Are you too proud, or too high and mighty?" 75 He said: I am better than him. Thou createdst me of fire, whilst him Thou didst create of clay. 76 'Begone' said He, 'you are stoned'. 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 He said: Surely you are of the respited ones, 80 "Till the Day of the Time Appointed." 81 He said, “Therefore, by oath of Your honour, I will surely mislead all of them.” 82 Save Thy single-minded slaves among them. 83 He said: The truth then is and the truth do I speak: 84 That I shall fill Hell with thee and such of them as shall follow thee, all together. 85 Say (O Muhammad SAW): "No wage do I ask of you for this (the Quran), nor am I one of the Mutakallifun (those who pretend and fabricate things which do not exist). 86 It is nothing but a reminder to the nations; 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
