Say: I am only a warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Subduer (of all): 65 the Lord of the heavens and the earth and all that is between them; the Almighty, the Forgiving' 66 Say: "This is a momentous message, 67 From which you turn away. 68 I had no knowledge of the chiefs on high when they disputed; 69 This alone is revealed to me, I am only a clear warner' 70 (Remember) When your Lord said to the angels, “I will create a human from clay.” – 71 When I have shaped him, and breathed My spirit in him, fall you down, bowing before him!' 72 So the angels prostrated - all of them entirely. 73 Saving Iblis; he was scornful and became one of the disbelievers. 74 [Allah] said, "O Iblees, what prevented you from prostrating to that which I created with My hands? Were you arrogant [then], or were you [already] among the haughty?" 75 He replied: “I am nobler than he. You created me from fire and created him from clay.” 76 Said He: "Go forth, then, from this [angelic state] - for, behold, thou art henceforth accursed, 77 And indeed, upon you is My curse until the Day of Recompense." 78 He said, "Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection". 79 He said: “You are of those who have been granted respite 80 Till the period of the time made known. 81 (Iblis) said: "Then, by Thy power, I will put them all in the wrong, 82 Except, among them, Your chosen servants." 83 Said He, 'This is the truth, and the truth I say; 84 I will fill up Hell with you and every one of them who follows you." 85 Say thou: I ask of you for it no hire, nor am I of the affecters. 86 It is naught but an admonition unto the worlds. 87 and you will most certainly grasp its purport after a lapse of time!" 88
