۞ But who does greater evil than he who lies against God and cries lies to the very truth, when it comes to him? Is there not in Gehenna a lodging for the unbelievers? 32 But he who brings the truth, and he who wholeheartedly accepts it as true - it is they, they, who are [truly] conscious of Him! 33 They will have whatever they desire with their Lord. That is the reward of the doers of good - 34 And to this end, God will efface from their record the worst that they ever did, and give them their reward in accordance with the best that they were doing [in life]. 35 Is God not enough for His servant? Yet they try to frighten you with other [deities] besides Him! For such as God lets go astray, there will be no guide; 36 And whomsoever Allah guideth, for him there shall be no misleader. Is not Allah Mighty, and Lord of Retribution? 37 If indeed thou ask them who it is that created the heavens and the earth, they would be sure to say, "Allah". Say: "See ye then? the things that ye invoke besides Allah,- can they, if Allah wills some Penalty for me, remove His Penalty?- Or if He wills some Grace for me, can they keep back his Grace?" Say: "Sufficient is Allah for me! In Him trust those who put their trust." 38 Say: O my people! work in your place, surely I am a worker, so you will come to know. 39 On whom cometh a torment humiliating him, and on whom alighteth a torment lasting. 40 Indeed, We sent down to you the Book for the people in truth. So whoever is guided - it is for [the benefit of] his soul; and whoever goes astray only goes astray to its detriment. And you are not a manager over them. 41
