Hizb 47
< random >
۞ Who, then, doth more wrong than one who utters a lie concerning Allah, and rejects the Truth when it comes to him; is there not in Hell an abode for blasphemers? 32 And those who brought this truth and those who testify for it these are the pious. 33 They will receive whatever they want from their Lord. Thus is the reward of the righteous ones. 34 And to this end, God will efface from their record the worst that they ever did, and give them their reward in accordance with the best that they were doing [in life]. 35 Shall not God suffice His servant, though they frighten thee with those apart from Him? And whomsoever God leads astray, no guide has he. 36 And whom Allah guides, there is none that can lead him astray; is not Allah Mighty, the Lord of retribution? 37 If thou askest them, 'Who created the heavens and the earth?' they will say, 'God.' Say: 'What think you? That you call upon apart from God -- if God desires affliction for me, shall they remove His affliction? Or if He desires mercy for me, shall they withhold His mercy?' Say: 'God is enough for me; in Him all those put their trust who put their trust.' 38 Say: 'My people, act according to your station; I am acting; and soon you will know 39 whom the degrading chastisement will visit and upon whom the everlasting chastisement will alight. 40 BEHOLD, from on high have We bestowed upon thee this divine writ, setting forth the truth for [the benefit of all] mankind. And whoever chooses to be guided [thereby,] does so for his own good, and whoever chooses to go astray, goes but astray to his own hurt; and thou hast not the power to determine their fate. 41

قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
