۞ SAY: "[Thus speaks God:] 'O you servants of Mine who have transgressed against your own selves! Despair not of God's mercy: behold, God forgives all sins - for, verily, He alone is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace!'" 53 Turn unto your Lord repentant, and surrender unto Him, before there come unto you the doom, when ye cannot be helped. 54 Follow the best aspect of what is sent down to you from your Lord, before the scourge comes upon you unawares, 55 Lest any soul should say: Alas, my grief that I was unmindful of Allah, and I was indeed among the scoffers! 56 Or say: "If only God had guided me I would have been a man of fear and piety;" 57 Or, he may say as he sees the punishment, "Would that I had a second chance, so that I could be among the doers of good." 58 No indeed! My revelations did come to you, but you rejected them: you showed arrogance, and were among those who deny the truth." 59 And on the Day of Resurrection thou (Muhammad) seest those who lied concerning Allah with their faces blackened. Is not the home of the scorners in hell? 60 And Allah will deliver those who are the Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2) to their places of success (Paradise). Evil shall touch them not, nor shall they grieve. 61 Allah is the Creator of all things, and He is the Wakil (Trustee, Disposer of affairs, Guardian, etc.) over all things. 62 To Him belong the keys of the heavens and the earth. Those who disbelieve in the verses of Allah they are the losers. 63
