The Unbelievers will be addressed: "Greater was the aversion of Allah to you than (is) your aversion to yourselves, seeing that ye were called to the Faith and ye used to refuse." 10 They shall say: 'Our Lord, twice You have made us die, and twice You have given us life, now, we confess our sins. Is there any way we can be brought out of this' 11 (It is said unto them): This is (your plight) because, when Allah only was invoked, ye disbelieved, but when some partner was ascribed to Him ye were believing. But the command belongeth only to Allah, the Sublime, the Majestic. 12 He it is Who shows you His signs and sends down for you sustenance from heaven, and none minds but he who turns (to Him) again and again. 13 Therefore call upon Allah, being sincere to Him in obedience, though the unbelievers are averse: 14 Exalted in Rank, Lord of the Throne: He causes the spirit to descend on whomsoever of His servants He pleases so as to warn them of the Day of Encounter; 15 The Day whereon they will appear: naught of them will be concealed from Allah, Whose is the dominion today? It is of Allah, the One, the Subduer. 16 This Day every soul will be recompensed for what it earned. No injustice today! Indeed, Allah is swift in account. 17 Warn them against the Imminent Day when, choking with anguish, the hearts will be in their throats, the harmdoers will not have a single loyal friend, and there will be no intercessor to be obeyed. 18 He (Allah) knows the furtive looks of the eyes and what the chests conceal. 19 And Allah will judge with (justice and) Truth: but those whom (men) invoke besides Him, will not (be in a position) to judge at all. Verily it is Allah (alone) Who hears and sees (all things). 20
