Allah it is Who hath appointed for you the night that ye may repose therein, and the day enlightening. Verily Allah is the Lord of Grace for mankind; but most of mankind return not thanks. 61 Allah (Who bestowed all these favours upon you) is your Lord, the Creator of everything. There is no god but He. Whence are you, then, being led astray? 62 Thus are they perverted who deny the revelations of Allah. 63 Allah is He Who made the earth a resting-place for you and the heaven a canopy, and He formed you, then made goodly your forms, and He provided you with goodly things; that is Allah, your Lord; blessed then is Allah, the Lord of the worlds. 64 He is the Everlasting and the only Lord. So worship Him and be devoted to His religion. It is only God, the Lord of the Universe who deserves all praise. 65 ۞ Say: 'I am forbidden to worship those whom you worship, other than Allah. Clear verses have come to me from my Lord and I am commanded to surrender to the Lord of the Worlds' 66 It is He who created you from dust, then from a (sperm) drop, and then a (blood) clot. He then brings you forth as an infant, then you reach your strength, after which you come of age though some of you die before it and that you reach an appointed term, in order that you understand. 67 It is He Who gives life and death; so whenever He wills a thing, He only says to it “Be” – it thereupon happens! 68
