Hast thou not seen those who wrangle concerning the revelations of Allah, how they are turned away? - 69 Those who reject the Book and the (revelations) with which We sent our messengers: but soon shall they know,- 70 When the fetters and the chains shall be on their necks; they shall be dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 "In derogation of Allah?" They will reply: "They have left us in the lurch: Nay, we invoked not, of old, anything (that had real existence)." Thus does Allah leave the Unbelievers to stray. 74 That is because ye had been exulting in the earth without right, and because ye had been strutting. 75 Enter the gates of Gehenna and live there for ever. Evil is the lodging of the proud. 76 Therefore have patience, the Promise of Allah is true. Whether We show you something of that We promise them or call you to Us, to Us they shall all return. 77 Assuredly We have sent apostles before thee, of them are these whose story We have recounted unto thee and these whose story We have not recounted unto thee. And it was not possible for any apostle that he should bring a sign save by Allah's leave. So when the commade of Allah cometh, judgment will be given with truth, and then will lose the followers of falsehood. 78
