Have you not seen how those who dispute the revelations of God, turn away from Truth to falsehood? 69 Those who belie the Book and that with which We sent Our Messengers shall soon know. 70 When, with (iron) collars and chains around their necks, they will be dragged 71 Into boiling water, then in the fire shall they be burned; 72 Then shall it be said to them: Where is that which you used to set up 73 “As rivals to Allah?”; they will say, “We have lost them – in fact we never used to worship anything before!”; this is how Allah sends the disbelievers astray. 74 that is because you exulted in the land without justification and because you behaved insolently. 75 Enter the gates of hell to abide therein, evil then is the abode of the proud. 76 So be patient, [O Muhammad]; indeed, the promise of Allah is truth. And whether We show you some of what We have promised them or We take you in death, it is to Us they will be returned. 77 And We have already sent messengers before you. Among them are those [whose stories] We have related to you, and among them are those [whose stories] We have not related to you. And it was not for any messenger to bring a sign [or verse] except by permission of Allah. So when the command of Allah comes, it will be concluded in truth, and the falsifiers will thereupon lose [all]. 78
