Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and that with which We sent Our messengers - they are going to know, 70 When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along. 71 In the boiling fetid fluid: then in the Fire shall they be burned; 72 Then they will be asked, "Where are the idols which you worshipped besides God?" 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 "That was because ye were wont to rejoice on the earth in things other than the Truth, and that ye were wont to be insolent. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide eternally therein, and wretched is the residence of the arrogant." 76 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. Whether We show thee a part of that We promise them, or We call thee unto Us, to Us they shall be returned. 77 We did aforetime send messengers before thee: of them there are some whose story We have related to thee, and some whose story We have not related to thee. It was not (possible) for any messenger to bring a sign except by the leave of Allah: but when the Command of Allah issued, the matter was decided in truth and justice, and there perished, there and then those who stood on Falsehoods. 78
