Seest thou not those that dispute concerning the Signs of Allah? How are they turned away (from Reality)?- 69 Those who gave the lie to this Book and all the Books which We had sent with Our Messengers shall soon come to know the Truth 70 When the fetters and chains are round their necks they shall be dragged 71 Through boiling waters; then they are thrust into the Fire. 72 And then they will be asked: "Where now are those [powers] to which you were wont to ascribe divinity 73 Apart from God?" They will answer: "They have left us in the lurch and fled. In fact it was nothing that we prayed to before." That is how God sends the unbelievers astray. 74 this is an outcome of your having arrogantly exulted on earth without any [concern for what is] right, and of your having been so full of self-conceit! 75 "Enter ye the gates of Hell, to dwell therein: and evil is (this) abode of the arrogant!" 76 Then have patience (O Muhammad). Lo! the promise of Allah is true. And whether we let thee see a part of that which We promise them, or (whether) We cause thee to die, still unto Us they will be brought back. 77 Surely We have sent apostles before you, some of whose account We have related to you, and that of some We have not told you. But no apostle was given a miracle unless God dispensed. But when the decree of God comes the sentence is passed with justice; and the lovers of vice and vanity will then come to grief. 78
