Have you not seen how those who dispute the signs of God are turned away? 69 Those who deny the Book and what We have sent down with Our apostles, will soon come to know 70 When the fetters and chains are on their necks, and they dragged 71 boiling water, and cast into the Fire. 72 Then it is said unto them: Where are (all) that ye used to make partners (in the Sovereignty) 73 other than Allah' They will reply: 'They have gone astray from us. Indeed what we used to call upon before is nothing' Accordingly, Allah leads the unbelievers astray. 74 [The angels will say], "That was because you used to exult upon the earth without right and you used to behave insolently. 75 Enter the gates of Hell to abide therein, and (indeed) what an evil abode of the arrogant! 76 (Muhammad), exercise patience. The promise of God is true. Whether We let you witness the suffering with which they were threatened or because of your death (you do not see them suffering,), We shall still punish them when they return to Us (on the Day of Judgment). 77 Indeed We sent many Messengers before you: of them there are some whose account We have narrated to you and there are others whose account We have not narrated to you. It did not lie in any Messenger's power to bring any Sign except with Allah's leave. So when Allah's decree came, the matter was decided with justice, and those steeped in error courted utter loss, then and there. 78
