Allah, it is He Who has made cattle for you, that you may ride on some of them and of some you eat. 79 And there are other benefits in them for you and that ye may attain thereby to any need that is in your breasts and upon them and upon ships ye are borne. 80 And [thus] He displays His wonders before you: which, then, of God's wonders can you still deny? 81 Have they not travelled through the earth and seen what was the end of those before them? They were more numerous than them and mightier in strength, and in the traces (they have left behind them) in the land, yet all that they used to earn availed them not. 82 For when Our apostles came to them with clear proofs, they boasted and exulted at the knowledge they possessed; but what they used to mock recoiled back on them, 83 but when they saw Our punishment, they said, "We believe in God, the One God, and we reject the partners we used to associate with Him," 84 So their accepting of faith did not benefit them when they saw Our punishment; the tradition of Allah which has passed among His bondmen; and there were the disbelievers ruined. 85
