Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim! 1 A sending down from the Merciful, the Compassionate. 2 a divine writ, the messages whereof have been clearly spelled out as a discourse in the Arabic tongue for people of [innate] knowledge, 3 Announcing happy news and warnings. And yet most of them are averse and do not listen, 4 And they say, “Our hearts are covered against the affair you call us to, and there is deafness in our ears, and there is a barrier between us and you – therefore mind your own business, we are minding ours.” 5 Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am only a human being like you. It is revealed to me that your God is One God; so direct yourselves straight to Him, and seek His forgiveness. Woe to those who associate others with Allah in His Divinity, 6 who do not pay zakat and have no faith in the life to come. 7 Indeed for those who believed and did good deeds, is a limitless reward. 8
