The disbelievers say: "Do not listen to this Qur'an, and shout away (its reading); you may haply prevail." 26 But verily We shall cause those who disbelieve to taste an awful doom, and verily We shall requite them the worst of what they used to do. 27 This is the recompense of Allah’s enemies the fire; they have to stay in it forever; the penalty for denying Our signs. 28 Those who deny the truth will say, "Our Lord, show us those jinn and men who misled us and we shall trample them underfoot, so that they may be among the lowest of the low." 29 To those who have said, "God is our Lord, " and who have remained steadfast to their belief, the angels will descend saying, "Do not be afraid or grieved. Receive the glad news of the Paradise which was promised to you. 30 We are close unto you in the life of this world and [will be so] in the life to come; and in that [life to come] you shall have all that your souls may desire, and in it you shall have all that you ever prayed for, 31 As accommodation from a [Lord who is] Forgiving and Merciful." 32
