Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha, Meem. 1 'AeenSeenQaaf 2 Thus God, the Powerful, the Wise, sends revelation to you as He did to those before you. 3 His is what is in the heavens and what is in the earth, and He is the High, the Great. 4 Well-nigh the heavens might be rent in sunder from above them. And the angels hallow the praise of their lord and ask forgiveness for these on the earth. Lo! Verily Allah! He is the Forgiver, the Merciful! 5 And [as for] those who take protectors besides Him, God is watching them and you are not a guardian over them. 6 And thus We have revealed to you an Arabic Qur'an that you may warn the Mother of Cities [Makkah] and those around it and warn of the Day of Assembly, about which there is no doubt. A party will be in Paradise and a party in the Blaze. 7 And if Allah willed, He could have made them [of] one religion, but He admits whom He wills into His mercy. And the wrongdoers have not any protector or helper. 8 What! Have they appointed supporters other than Allah? So (know that) Allah only is the Supporter, and He will revive the dead; and He is Able to do all things. 9
