Al-Shooraa 4 of 5
Whatever misfortune befalls you is of your own doing, God forgives much, 30 You cannot challenge God on earth and you will have no one besides Him as your guardian or helper. 31 And among His signs are the ships that sail like [floating] mountains through the seas: 32 If it be His Will He can still the Wind: then would they become motionless on the back of the (ocean). Verily in this are Signs for everyone who patiently perseveres and is grateful. 33 or He could have destroyed them as punishment for the human being's deeds. However, God pardons many sins. 34 And that those who argue concerning Our revelations may know they have no refuge. 35 That which has been given to you is only the wherewithal of the transient life of this world. But that which is with Allah is better and more enduring for those who believe and put their trust in their Lord; 36 And (for) those who avoid cardinal sins and indecencies, and forgive (even) when they are angry. 37 who respond to their Lord and attend to their prayers; who conduct their affairs by mutual consultation and spend out of what We have provided for them; 38 And those who, when great wrong is done to them, defend themselves, 39 And the retribution for an evil act is an evil one like it, but whoever pardons and makes reconciliation - his reward is [due] from Allah. Indeed, He does not like wrongdoers. 40 And whosoever harms after he has been harmed there is no blame upon them. 41 The blame is only against those who wrong people, and are wrongfully insolent in the earth, for them there is a painful punishment. 42 And whoever is patient and forgives - indeed, that is of the matters [requiring] determination. 43

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
