And whomsoever Allah makes err, he has no guardian after Him; and you shall see the unjust, when they see the punishment, saying: Is there any way to return? 44 And thou shalt see them, as they are exposed to it, abject in humbleness, looking with furtive glance; and the believers shall say, 'Surely the losers are they who lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection; surely the evildoers are in lasting chastisement. 45 And they will have no Auliya' (protectors) to help them other than Allah. And he whom Allah sends astray, for him there is no way. 46 Answer the call of Your Lord afore there cometh unto you a Day for which there is no averting from Allah. Ye will have no place of refuge on that Day, nor there will be for you any denying of your guilt. 47 (Muhammad), if they turn away from your message, know that We have not sent you as their keeper. Your duty is only to deliver the message. When We grant mercy to the human being, he becomes joyous, but when he is afflicted by evil as a result of his own deeds, he proves to be ungrateful. 48 To Allah belongs the Kingdom of the heavens and the earth. He creates what He will. He gives females to whom He will and males to whom He will. 49 Or He conjoineth them males and females; and He maketh barren whomsoever He will; verily He is Knower, Potent. 50 ۞ It does not belong to any human that Allah should speak to him except by Revelation, or from behind a veil, or that He sends a Messenger to reveal whatsoever He will by His Permission. He is the High, the Wise. 51 We have thus revealed a Spirit to you [Prophet] by Our command: you knew neither the Scripture nor the faith, but We made it a light, guiding with it whoever We will of Our servants. You are indeed guiding to the straight path, 52 the path of God who is the owner of all that is in the heavens and the earth. To God certainly do all matters return. 53
