O My bondmen! no fear shall be on you Today, nor shall ye grieve 68 to those who believed in Our verses and were Muslims, 69 Enter Paradise, you and your wives, in happiness. 70 Therein are brought round for them trays of gold and goblets, and therein is all that souls desire and eyes find sweet. And ye are immortal therein. 71 This is the Paradise you will inherit (as meed) for your deeds. 72 You shall have therein abundant fruit to eat' 73 Verily, the Mujrimun (criminals, sinners, disbelievers, etc.) will be in the torment of Hell to abide therein forever. 74 Never will their torment be lightened for them. They shall remain in utter despair. 75 We have not wronged them; it was they who were the wrongdoers. 76 They will cry: "O Malik! would that thy Lord put an end to us!" He will say, "Nay, but ye shall abide!" 77 We have brought to you the truth, but most of you despise the truth. 78 Or have they devised [some] affair? But indeed, We are devising [a plan]. 79 Or do they think that We hear not their secrets and their private conversations? Yes, [We do], and Our messengers are with them recording. 80 Say thou: had the Compassionate a son, I shall be the first of his worshippers. 81 Utterly remote, in His glory, is the Sustainer of the heavens and the earth - the Sustainer, in almightiness enthroned from all that they may attribute to Him by way of definition! 82 Therefore leave them to utter vile speech and to play, until they confront the day which they are promised. 83 for [then they will come to know that] it is He [alone] who is God in heaven and God on earth, and [that] He alone is truly wise, all-knowing. 84 Blessed is He Who has dominion over the heavens and the earth and all that is between them. With Him is the knowledge of the Hour; and to Him you shall all be sent back. 85 And those whom they invoke instead of Him have no power of intercession; except those who bear witness to the truth (i.e. believed in the Oneness of Allah, and obeyed His Orders), and they know (the facts about the Oneness of Allah). 86 If thou ask them, who created them, they will certainly say, Allah: How then are they deluded away (from the Truth)? 87 And he saith: O my Lord! Lo! these are a folk who believe not. 88 Yet bear thou with them, and say: "Peace [be upon you]!" - for in time they will come to know [the truth]. 89
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Vanity (Al-Zukhruf). Sent down in Mecca after Consultation (Al-Shooraa) before Smoke (Al-Dukhaan)
