Al-Zukhruf 7 of 7
O My creatures, there will be no fear or regret 68 those who believed in Our revelations and surrendered themselves to Us. 69 Enter the Garden, ye and your spouses, joyfully. 70 To them will be passed round, dishes and goblets of gold: there will be there all that the souls could desire, all that their eyes could delight in: and ye shall abide therein (for eye). 71 This is the Garden which ye have been made to inherit for that which ye have been working. 72 You will have fruits in abundance there to eat. 73 But the evildoers shall live for ever in the punishment of Gehenna (Hell), 74 which will not be lightened for them, and therein they shall be silent. 75 And it is not We who will be doing wrong unto them, but it is they who will have wronged themselves. 76 And - they will cry: O keeper let thy Lord make an end of us. He will say: verily ye shall bide 77 We have certainly brought the truth to you: but most of you have an aversion for the truth. 78 Or have they plotted some plan? Then We too are planning. 79 Or do they think that We do not hear their secret talks and their whispering counsels? Yes, indeed We do and Our messengers (i.e., angels) are with them, writing. 80 Say thou: had the Compassionate a son, I shall be the first of his worshippers. 81 Glorified be the Lord of the heavens and the earth, the Lord of the Throne, from that which they ascribe (unto Him)! 82 Therefore leave them to utter vile speech and to play, until they confront the day which they are promised. 83 He who is God in the heavens is also God in the earth; He is the Wise, the Knower. 84 blessed be He who has sovereignty over the kingdom of the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them. He alone has knowledge of the Hour, and to Him you shall be returned. 85 Those they invoke apart from Him have no power of intercession, except those who testify to the truth and have knowledge. 86 And if you asked them who created them, they would surely say, "Allah." So how are they deluded? 87 And he saith: O my Lord! Lo! these are a folk who believe not. 88 Turn away from them and say: "Peace." They will come to know soon. 89

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.

(1) وقف لازم، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي نقطة وقف. (2) وقف جائز مع الوقف أولى، حيث يستخدم الرسم الإنجليزي فاصلة قد تظهر باحتمال الثلثين. When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
