And We delivered the Children of Israel from the shameful doom; 30 and from the Pharaoh. He was the chief of the transgressors. 31 We knowingly chose them above all other people 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 These men do say, 34 “This is our first and only death, and we shall never be raised again. 35 So bring our ancestors back, if you are truthful." 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba' and those before them? We destroyed them because they were indeed Mujrimun (disbelievers, polytheists, sinners, criminals, etc.). 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is in-between the twain sporting. 38 We created them with definite purpose; but most of them do not understand. 39 The appointed time for all of them will be the Day of Judgment 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 Except those [believers] on whom Allah has mercy. Indeed, He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful. 42
