and We delivered the Children of Israel from the humbling chastisement, 30 from Pharaoh, who ranked high in sin, 31 And assuredly We elected them with knowledge above the worlds. 32 And gave signs to them in which there was a clear trial. 33 These people say, 34 there is nothing beyond our first death; we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring us our fathers, if you speak truly!' 36 Are they better, or the people of Tubba? And those who were before them? We destroyed them; they were indeed criminals. 37 And We created not the heavens and the earth, and all that is between them, in play. 38 We created them with definite purpose; but most of them do not understand. 39 The Day of Judgement is your promised day of meeting, 40 the day a master shall avail nothing a client, and they shall not be helped, 41 Except those upon whom Allah has mercy; indeed He only is the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 42
