So We saved the children of Israel from degrading suffering 30 From Firon; surely he was haughty, (and) one of the extravagant. 31 And We certainly chose them by knowledge over [all] the worlds. 32 And We gave them of the communications wherein was clear blessing. 33 As to these (Quraish), they say forsooth: 34 “There is nothing except our dying just once, and we will not be raised.” 35 "Then bring back our fore-fathers, if you speak the truth!" 36 What! Are they better than the people of Tubba and those who were before them? We destroyed them because they were guilty of sin. 37 We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them for Our own amusement. 38 We created them not save in truth; but most of them know it not. 39 Surely the Day of Decision shall be their appointed time, all together, 40 The Day when no relation will avail a relation at all, nor will they be helped - 41 except those on whom Allah will have mercy. He is the Almighty, the Most Merciful. 42
