We saved the Children of Israel from their humiliating torment 30 From Fir'awn; verily he was haughty and of the extravagant. 31 and We chose them, out of a knowledge, above all beings, 32 And sent them tokens to bring out the best in them. 33 Yet these say: 34 There is naught but our first death and we shall not be raised again. 35 Bring then our fathers if ye say so. 36 Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, for surely they were guilty. 37 We did not idly create the heavens and the earth and all that lies between them; 38 We did not create them both but with the truth, but most of them do not know. 39 Assuredly the Day of Decision is the term for all of them, 40 The Day when no protector can avail his client in aught, and no help can they receive, 41 save those upon whom God will have bestowed His grace and mercy: for, verily, He alone is almighty, a dispenser of grace. 42
