Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
Verily the tree of Zaqqum: 43 Food of the sinner. 44 Like molten brass, it seetheth in their bellies 45 like the boiling of hot water. 46 Seize him, then drag him down into the middle of the hell; 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Verily the God-fearing will be in a place secure 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Dressed in fine silk and (also) in thick silk, facing each other, 53 so it will be. We shall wed them to maidens with large, dark eyes. 54 therein calling for every fruit, secure. 55 There they shall not taste death, except the first death, and He will shield them from the punishment of Hell, 56 God will protect them from the torment of hell as a favor from your Lord. (Muhammad), this is certainly the greatest triumph. 57 And We have made this Qur’an easy in your language, for them to understand. 58 Wait thou then; verily they also are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
