The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 Food of the sinner. 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 like boiling water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 Then pour upon his head the torment of boiling water. 48 "Taste it," (they will be told). "You were indeed the mighty and noble! 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Surely the godfearing shall be in a station secure 51 amid gardens and springs, 52 wearing [garments] of silk and brocade, facing one another [in love]. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 There they will not know any death apart from the first death they had died, and will be kept safe from the torment of Hell 56 As a Bounty from thy Lord! that will be the supreme achievement! 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 Therefore wait; surely they are waiting. 59
