The tree of al-Zaqqum 43 The food of the sinner! 44 It is like pitch. It will fume in the belly 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 'Take him, and thrust him into the midst of Hell, 47 then pour boiling water over his head as chastisement. 48 Taste it - thou who [on earth] hast considered thyself so mighty, so noble! 49 This is what you used to doubt.” 50 Verily! The Muttaqun (pious - see V. 2:2), will be in place of Security (Paradise). 51 among gardens and springs, 52 They will be dressed in fine silk and embroidery, facing one another (on thrones). 53 Thus (shall it be), and We will wed them with Houris pure, beautiful ones. 54 There in security, they will call for every kind of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein, except the first death; and He will preserve them from the torment of the Flaming Fire. 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 And We have made it easy in thy language; they might haply be admonished. 58 So be on the watch; they too are on the watch. 59
