Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The tree of Zaqqum will indeed be 43 The food of the sinner! 44 Like molten copper boiling in the belly 45 Like the boiling of scalding water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 "Then pour over his head the torment of scalding water." 48 "Taste you (this)! Verily, you were (pretending to be) the mighty, the generous! 49 This is that which you doubted' 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in fine silk and in rich brocade, they will face each other; 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 They call therein for every fruit in safety. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 A bounty from thy Lord. That is the supreme triumph. 57 So have We made it easy in your tongue that they may be mindful. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59
Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
End of Surah: Smoke (Al-Dukhaan). Sent down in Mecca after Vanity (Al-Zukhruf) before Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
