Al-Dukhaan 3 of 3
The food of the Zakkum tree 43 shall be food for the sinners: 44 Like molten copper; it churns in their bellies. 45 Like the churning of boiling water. 46 "Seize him and drag him into the depths of Hell," (it will be said), 47 “Then pour on his head the punishment of boiling water.” 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Indeed, this is what you used to dispute." 50 Surely those who guard (against evil) are in a secure place, 51 In gardens and springs; 52 clothed in fine silk and rich brocade, sitting face to face with one another. 53 Even so; and We shall espouse them to wide-eyed houris, 54 While resting in security, they shall call for all kinds of fruit. 55 They will not taste death therein except the first death, and He will have protected them from the punishment of Hellfire 56 As bounty from your Lord. That is what is the great attainment. 57 Certainly, We have made this (Quran) easy in your tongue, in order that they may remember. 58 So wait thou and watch; for they (too) are waiting. 59

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
