The tree of Zaqqum 43 Is the food of the sinners. 44 Like murky oil, it boils within bellies 45 As the seething of boiling water. 46 Lay hold of him, and drag him unto the midst of the Flaming Fire. 47 Then pour the punishment of boiling water over his head, 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 Lo! this is that whereof ye used to doubt. 50 Indeed, for those who feared (Allah) is a secure place 51 In gardens and springs; 52 Attired in fine silk and brocade, facing each other. 53 Even so. And We shall pair them with fair damsels large-eyed. 54 There can they call for every kind of fruit in peace and security; 55 and neither shall they taste death there after having passed through their erstwhile death. Thus will He have preserved them from all suffering through the blazing fire 56 as a bounty from your Lord. That will be the mighty triumph. 57 (O Prophet), We have made this Book easy in your tongue so that they may take heed. 58 Therefore wait (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) – they too are waiting. 59
