The food of the Zakkum tree 43 is the food of the guilty, 44 like molten lead will it boil in the belly, 45 as the boiling of the hot water. 46 [And the word will be spoken:] "Seize him, [O you forces of hell,] and drag him into the midst of the blazing fire: 47 Then pour over his head from the torment of scalding water." 48 Taste; you forsooth are the mighty, the honorable: 49 This is what you doubted?" 50 Verily the God-fearing shall be in a secure place 51 amidst gardens and springs. 52 Dressed in brocade and shot silk, facing one another. 53 Just like that. We shall pair them with companions with large black eyes. 54 In that [paradise] they shall [rightfully] claim all the fruits [of their past deeds,] resting in security; 55 They will not taste death therein, save the first death. God will save them from the torment of Hell 56 an act of thy Sustainer's favour: and that, that will be the triumph supreme! 57 And We have made (this Scripture) easy in thy language only that they may heed. 58 Wait, then; they too are waiting. 59
