Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Ha Mim. 1 This Book is revealed from God, the Majestic and All-wise. 2 Indeed, there are signs in the heavens and earth for believers, 3 And in your (own) creation and in what He spreads abroad of animals there are signs for a people that are sure; 4 and in the succession of night and day, and in the provision that Allah sends down from the sky wherewith He gives life to the earth after it had been lifeless, and in the change of the winds: (in all these) there are Signs for people who use reason. 5 These messages of God do We convey unto thee, setting forth the truth. In what other tiding, if not in God's messages, will they, then, believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar! 7 He hears the verses of Allah recited to him and then, as though he never heard them, persists in insolence. Give to him the glad tidings of a painful punishment. 8 And when he comes to know about any of the verses, he mocks at it; for them is a disgraceful punishment. 9 Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. 10 Such is Our guidance; those who reject their Lord's revelations shall suffer a woeful punishment. 11
