Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
Allah has destroyed the deeds of those who disbelieved and prevented from Allah’s way. 1 And those who believe and work righteous works and believe in that which hath been revealed unto Muhammad - and it is the truth from their Lord - He shall expiate their misdeeds from them and shall make good their state. 2 That is because those who disbelieve follow the falsehood, and those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. And thus Allah propoundeth unto mankind their similitude. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will show them the way, and better their state, 5 and He will admit them to Paradise, that He has made known to them. 6 O believers, if you help God, He will help you, and confirm your feet. 7 As to those who disbelieve, perdition lies in store for them and Allah has reduced their works to nought. 8 That is because they disliked what Allah revealed, so He rendered worthless their deeds. 9 ۞ Have they not then journeyed in the land and seen how was the end of those before them: Allah brought down destruction upon them, and the unbelievers shall have the like of it. 10 That is because God is the Protector of the believers, and that the unbelievers have no protector. 11
