Muhammad (Muhammad)
In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful
Those who reject Allah and hinder (men) from the Path of Allah,- their deeds will Allah render astray (from their mark). 1 But those who believe and do the right, and believe what has been revealed to Muhammad, which is the truth from their Lord, will have their faults condoned by Him and their state improved. 2 That is because those who refuse to believe only follow what is false; but those who believe follow the truth from their Lord. That is how God gives men precepts of wisdom. 3 Now when ye meet those who disbelieve, smite their necks until when ye have slain them greatly, then make fast the bonds; then, thereafter let them off either freely or by ransom, until the war layeth down the burthens thereof. That ye shall do. And had Allah willed, He would have vindicated Himself against them, but He ordained fighting in order that He may prove you one by the other. And those who are slain in the way of Allah, He shall not send their works astray. 4 He will guide them and set right their state. 5 and He will admit them to Paradise, that He has made known to them. 6 O ye who believe! If ye help Allah, He will help you and will make your foothold firm. 7 And (as for) those who disbelieve, for them is destruction and He has made their deeds ineffective. 8 It is because they are averse to what God has revealed that He has rendered their deeds futile. 9 ۞ Have they not travelled the earth and seen how those before them met their end? God destroyed them utterly: a similar fate awaits those who deny the truth. 10 That is because Allah is the Protector of those who believe, and because the unbelievers shall have no protector for them. 11
