In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
QAF. I CALL to witness the glorious Qur'an. 1 No, but they marvel that from among themselves a warner has come to them. The unbelievers say (in mockery): 'This is a marvelous thing! 2 When we are dead and have become dust (shall we be brought back again)? That would be a far return! 3 We know indeed what the earth diminishes of them, and with Us is a writing that preserves. 4 Nay, but they have denied the truth (this Quran) when it has come to them, so they are in a confused state (can not differentiate between right and wrong). 5 Do they not then look up to heaven above them how We have made it and adorned it and it has no gaps? 6 And the earth have We spread out, and have flung firm hills therein, and have caused of every lovely kind to grow thereon, 7 as a lesson and a reminder to every penitent worshiper. 8 And We send down water as a blessing from the sky, and grow gardens with it and the grain for harvest, 9 And the tall palm-trees having spadices closely set one above another, 10 As a provision for men, and enlivened a region that was dead. Even thus will be the life after death. 11 In the past Noah's people, and the people of Rass and Thamud gave the lie (to Messengers), 12 and Aad, Pharaoh and the brothers of Lot, 13 And the dwellers in the wood, and the folk of Tubb'a: every one denied their messengers, therefor My threat took effect. 14 Could We, then, be [thought of as being] worn out by the first creation? Nay - but some people are [still] lost in doubt about [the possibility of] a new creation! 15

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
