3/4 Hizb 52
< random >
And assuredly We have created man and We know whatsoever his soul whispereth unto him, and We are nigher unto him than his jugular vein. 16 When the two receivers receive, sitting on the right and on the left. 17 He utters not a word but there is by him a watcher at hand. 18 And when the agony of death comes in truth (they will say): 'This is what you have been trying to avoid' 19 And then the Trumpet was blown. This is the day of the promised chastisement. 20 And every soul shall come, with it a driver and a witness. 21 Assuredly thou wast in neglect thereof; now We have removed from off thee thy veil, so thy sight Today is piercing. 22 And (unto the evil-doer) his comrade saith: This is that which I have ready (as testimony). 23 Do cast into hell every ungrateful, rebellious one, 24 who hinders good, exceeds the limits, is immersed in doubts, 25 and has set up another deity with Allah. Hurl him into the grievous torment.” 26 ۞ Man's other self' will say: "O our Sustainer! It was not I that led his conscious mind into evil [nay,] but it had gone far astray [of its own accord]! 27 Allah will say: wrangle not in My presence, and I had already proferred unto you the threat. 28 The word will not be changed with Me, and never will I be unjust to the servants." 29

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
