And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein 16 When both receivers (the angels) receive, one on his right, the other on his left, 17 Man does not utter any word except that with him is an observer prepared [to record]. 18 and (the human being will be told), "This is what you had been trying to run away from". 19 And the Horn will be blown. That is the Day of [carrying out] the threat. 20 And every soul cometh, along with it a driver and a witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his companion, [the angel], will say, "This [record] is what is with me, prepared." 23 (And it will be said): "Both of you throw (Order from Allah to the two angels) into Hell, every stubborn disbeliever (in the Oneness of Allah, in His Messengers, etc.). 24 "Hinderer of good, transgressor, doubter, 25 “The one who appointed another God along with Allah – so both of you fling him into the severe punishment.” 26 ۞ His accompanying devil said, “Our Lord! I did not cause him to rebel, but he himself was in extreme error.” 27 He will say: "Dispute not with each other in My Presence: I had already in advance sent you Warning. 28 and My word shall not be changed, nor am I unjust to My servants." 29
