And certainly We created man, and We know what his mind suggests to him, and We are nearer to him than his life-vein. 16 When the two Receivers receive (him), seated on the right hand and on the left, 17 There is not a word he utters but an observer is ready (to make note of it). 18 And the stupor of death will come in truth; that is what you were trying to escape. 19 The trumpet will be sounded. This is the Day [you were] warned of. 20 And there will come forth every soul: with each will be an (angel) to drive, and an (angel) to bear witness. 21 You were heedless of this, but now We have removed your veil, so your sight today is sharp. 22 And his accompanying angel said, “This is the record of your deeds, available with me.” 23 [Allah will say], "Throw into Hell every obstinate disbeliever, 24 Preventer of good, aggressor, and doubter, 25 Who had set up another god with God. Cast him into severe torment." 26 ۞ His [devil] companion will say, "Our Lord, I did not make him transgress, but he [himself] was in extreme error." 27 [And] He will say: "Contend not before Me, [O you sinners,] for I gave you a forewarning [of this Day of Reckoning]. 28 No word is to be exchanged in My presence. I am not unjust to My servants". 29
