Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the (Winds) that scatter broadcast; 1 And those who bear the load (of rain), 2 and those speeding along with ease, 3 And the angels who distribute the affair. 4 Verily, that which you are promised is true indeed, 5 The Judgement will indeed take place. 6 By the Sky with (its) numerous Paths, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 Deluded away from the Qur'an is he who is deluded. 9 Destroyed are the falsifiers 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask, "When will the Day of Judgement come?" 12 The day they will be burnt in the Fire, 13 Taste your persecution! this is what you would hasten on. 14 The righteous shall live among gardens and fountains, 15 Taking that which their Lord will vouchsafe unto hem. Verily they have been before that well-doers. 16 They slept but a little at night, 17 And in the hours before dawn, they were (found) asking (Allah) for forgiveness, 18 They assigned a share of their property for the needy and the destitute. 19 On the earth, and in yourselves, 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 And in heaven is [the source of] your sustenance [on earth] and [of] all that you are promised [for your life after death]: 22 Then, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, it is the truth (i.e. what has been promised to you), just as it is the truth that you can speak. 23
