Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By the winds which scatter dust, 1 and those that bear the burden [of the rain], 2 Then by oath of those which move with ease. 3 and the partitioners, 4 Indeed, what you are promised is true. 5 and, verily, judgment is bound to come! 6 By the heaven full of paths, 7 Truly ye are in a doctrine discordant, 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Woe to the falsehood-mongers,- 10 Those who are in heedlessness neglectful. 11 They ask, "When it will be the Day of Judgment?" 12 It will be the Day whereon in the Fire they will be burned 13 "Taste your trial. This is what you sought to hasten." 14 Indeed, the righteous will be among gardens and springs, 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 they used to sleep but little by night, 17 and asked for forgiveness in the early morning. 18 And in their substance was the right of the beggar and non-beggar. 19 On the earth, and in yourselves, 20 and also in yourselves. Can you not see? 21 And in the heaven is your provision and that which ye are promised. 22 So, by the Lord of the heaven and the earth, this is certainly true, as true as the fact of your speaking. 23
