Drivers of the Winds (Al-Dhaareyaat)
In the Name of Allah, the Merciful, the Most Merciful
By those [winds] scattering [dust] dispersing 1 and the burden-bearers 2 Then those (ships) that glide easily, 3 Then by oath of those which distribute by the command. 4 that what you are promised is certainly true 5 and the Day of Judgment will inevitably take place. 6 CONSIDER the firmament full of starry paths! 7 You are surely caught in contradictions., 8 From which only he turns who is turned away. 9 Doomed are the conjecturers 10 Who are in a gulf (of ignorance) neglectful; 11 They ask, “When will be the Day of Judgement?” 12 (It will be) a Day when they will be tried (and tested) over the Fire! 13 [And will be told], "Taste your torment. This is that for which you were impatient." 14 Surely the godfearing shall be among gardens and fountains 15 receiving what their Lord will give them because before this they were gooddoers. 16 They slept little in the night, 17 and at dawn would ask forgiveness, 18 and in their wealth there was a rightful share for him who would ask and for the destitute. 19 There are many Signs on earth for those of sure faith, 20 there are signs for firm believers. Do you not see then? 21 In the heavens there is your sustenance and that which you were promised (Paradise). 22 So by the Lord of heaven and earth, it is as true as your speech. 23
