Hizb 53
< random >
Hath there come unto thee the story of Ibrahim's honoured guests? 24 When they came in unto him and said: peace! he said: peace! people unknown. 25 Then he turned quietly to his household, and brought forth a fat [roasted] calf, 26 So he brought it near them. He said: What! will you not eat? 27 Then he conceived a fear of them (when they ate not). They said: "Fear not." And they gave him glad tidings of an intelligent son, having knowledge (about Allah and His religion of True Monotheism). 28 Then came forward his wife, clamouring, and she smote her face, and said, 'An old woman, barren!' 29 They said, “This is how your Lord has decreed; indeed He only is the Wise, the All Knowing.” 30 ۞ He said: what then is your errand! O ye sent ones! 31 They answered: "Behold, we have been sent unto a people lost in sin, 32 to loose upon them stones of clay 33 "Marked as from thy Lord for those who trespass beyond bounds." 34 Then We evacuated those of the Believers who were there, 35 for apart from one [single] house We did not find there any who had surrendered themselves to Us. 36 And We left there a Sign for such as fear the Grievous Penalty. 37 And in Moses (too, there is a portent) when We sent him unto Pharaoh with clear warrant, 38 In response, he turned away along with his army and said, “He is a magician or a madman.” 39 So We seized him and his hosts, and cast them into the sea. He became an object of much blame. 40 And in the tribe of A’ad, when we sent a dry windstorm upon them. 41 and it destroyed everything over which it passed and reduced it to dust. 42 And in Thamud's also was a lesson, when it was said unto them: enjoy yourselves for a season. 43 But in their pride they turn away from the commandment of their Lord and the thunderbolt struck them whilst they were looking; 44 and they were not able to stand upright, and were not helped. 45 Before all these We destroyed the people of Noah: they were a wicked people. 46

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
