We have built the heaven with might, and We it is Who make the vast extent (thereof). 47 And the earth We have spread out, and excellent is the preparer. 48 We have created everything in pairs so that perhaps you may take heed. 49 Therefor flee unto Allah; lo! I am a plain warner unto you from him. 50 And do not make [as equal] with Allah another deity. Indeed, I am to you from Him a clear warner. 51 In the same way no Messenger came to those who lived before them without his people calling him a magician or an insane person. 52 Have they (the people of the past) transmitted this saying to these (Quraish pagans)? Nay, they are themselves a people transgressing beyond bounds (in disbelief)! 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I seek not any provision from them (i.e. provision for themselves or for My creatures) nor do I ask that they should feed Me (i.e. feed themselves or My creatures). 57 Verily Allah! He is the Provider, Owner of power, Firm. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 And woe unto those who disbelieve, from (that) their day which they are promised. 60
