We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And the earth – We spread it out, and how well have We smoothed it! 48 We created two kinds of all things, so that you will remember. 49 Hasten ye then (at once) to Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Likewise, no Messenger came to those before them, but they said: "A sorcerer or a madman!" 52 What! Have they willed this utterance to one another? In fact they are a rebellious people. 53 Therefore turn away from them (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), – so there is no blame upon you. 54 Do, however, keep exhorting them; for exhortation benefits those endowed with faith. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 Indeed, it is Allah who is the [continual] Provider, the firm possessor of strength. 58 And indeed, for those who have wronged is a portion [of punishment] like the portion of their predecessors, so let them not impatiently urge Me. 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
