And heaven -- We built it with might, and We extend it wide. 47 And the earth, We have made it a wide extent; how well have We then spread (it) out. 48 And We created pairs of everything that you may contemplate. 49 Therefore fly to Allah, surely I am a plain warner to you from Him. 50 And make not another an object of worship with Allah: I am from Him a Warner to you, clear and open! 51 Even thus no apostle came to those before them but they said: "He is a sorcerer or a mad man." 52 Have they bequeathed it unto each other! Nay! they are a people contumacious. 53 Turn, then, away from them, and thou shalt incur no blame; 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. 56 I desire of them no provision, neither do I desire that they should feed Me. 57 It is God Who is the Sustainer and the Lord of invincible strength. 58 And lo! for those who (now) do wrong there is an evil day like unto the evil day (which came for) their likes (of old); so let them not ask Me to hasten on (that day). 59 Woe then to the unbelievers for their Day which they were promised! 60
