We built the heavens by Our authority; and We are the Lord of power and expanse. 47 And We have spread out the (spacious) earth: How excellently We do spread out! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 So turn to God. I give you a clear warning from Him. 50 And set not up another god with Allah; verily I am unto you from Him a warner manifest. 51 Similarly, no messenger came to the Peoples before them, but they said (of him) in like manner, "A sorcerer, or one possessed"! 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 Then turn your back upon them for you are not to blame; 54 And remind; the Reminder profits the believers. 55 I have not created jinn and mankind except to serve Me. 56 I seek no sustenance from them, nor do I want them to feed Me -- 57 Surely Allah is the Bestower of all provision, the Lord of all power, the Strong. 58 And indeed for these unjust is also a turn of punishment, like that of their companions – so they must not ask Me to hasten. 59 woe, then, to those who are bent on denying the truth, when the Day arrives which they have been promised. 60
