And the heaven We constructed with strength, and indeed, We are [its] expander. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 and We created pairs of all things so that you might reflect. 49 Flee, therefore, to Allah. Surely I am a clear warner to you from Him; 50 And do not ascribe divinity to aught side by side with God: verily, I am a plain warner to you from Him!" 51 Even so there came no messenger unto those before them but they said: A wizard or a madman! 52 Have they, perchance, handed down this [way of thinking] as a legacy unto one another? Nay, they are people filled with overweening arrogance! 53 So turn thou from them; thou wilt not be reproached. 54 yet go on reminding [all who would listen]: for, verily, such a reminder will profit the believers. 55 And I created the jinns and men, only for them to worship Me. 56 I do not want from them any provision, nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 For Allah is He Who gives (all) Sustenance,- Lord of Power,- Steadfast (for ever). 58 Those who do wrong will indeed come to the same end as their fellows (of old). So let them not ask Me to hasten (the punishment). 59 Woe, then, betide those who disbelieved in that Day of theirs which they are being asked to hold in dread. 60
